What is the difference between deleting my account, canceling my subscription, and deleting the Singa app?

How is deleting an account different from canceling a subscription? Read more about this topic here.

These three actions are different things and have different effects on your Singa account.

Action

What happens?

What remains?

Deleting an account

Your Singa account will be permanently deleted. Your user profile, playlists, song history, and other account-related information will be deleted. You will no longer be able to log in to your account.

Nothing – the data will be permanently deleted.

Canceling a Premium subscription

Premium ends at the end of the current billing period. After this, the account becomes free (Freemium).

Your account, profile, playlists, and song history will remain intact, and you can continue to use the free version of Singa.

Removing the Singa app from your device

The Singa app will be removed from your phone or tablet.

The user account and any Premium subscription will not change. Simply deleting the app does not cancel the subscription or delete the account.

What action should I take?

I want to cancel Premium but keep my account

Cancel your Premium subscription. You can still log in and use the free version of Singa. All your song lists and song history will be preserved.

I want to delete all my data from Singa

Delete your user account. Please note that the account can only be deleted when there is no longer an active Premium subscription. If you have Premium, cancel the subscription first and wait for the billing period to end. After that, you can delete the account permanently.

I just want to free up space on my device

You can remove the Singa app from your device. However, this does not delete your account or terminate your Premium subscription. If you do not want the subscription to be renewed, it must be canceled separately.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Will Premium be cancelled if I delete the app?

No. Deleting the app does not cancel the Premium subscription. The subscription must be cancelled separately through the place where it was purchased (Singa's website, Apple App Store or Google Play).

Can I use Singa after canceling my subscription?

Yes. After the billing period ends, your subscription will be converted to a free Singa Freemium account, and you can continue to use the service with the features of the free version. With the free version, you can sing 3 songs per day for free.

Can I delete my account immediately if I have Premium?

No. You must first cancel your Premium subscription and wait for the current subscription period to end. Only then can you permanently delete your account.
