What you need

Before getting started, make sure you have:

  • An Apple TV (4th generation or newer)

  • A stable internet connection

  • A Singa account

  • A TV connected to your Apple TV

  • Optional: external speakers or sound system for better audio

Here are the steps to install the Singa tvOS app on your Apple TV:

  1. Turn on your Apple TV (4th Generation) and open the App Store

  2. Search for the Singa Karaoke app and install it on your Apple TV

  3. Once Singa is installed, open it and click the "Log in" button

  4. The app will provide you with an activation code

  5. On a computer or mobile device, visit the activation page,

  6. Sign in to your Singa account (or create an account) and enter the activation code appearing on your TV screen

  7. The app will refresh, and you can start singing on your Apple TV

Start singing

  1. Browse or search for a song

  2. Select the song you want to sing

  3. Press play to start karaoke

  4. Follow the lyrics displayed on your TV screen

You can use the Apple TV remote to pause songs, skip tracks, or browse the catalog.

Audio tips

For the best karaoke experience:

  • Connect your TV or Apple TV to external speakers or a sound system if available

  • Increase the microphone volume separately if using an external karaoke microphone setup

Using a microphone

Apple TV does not support direct microphone input through the Singa app. To sing along, you can use:

  • A separate karaoke microphone with built-in speakers

  • A Bluetooth karaoke microphone

The music will play through your TV while your voice is amplified separately through the microphone setup.

Troubleshooting

Singa app is not loading

  • Check your internet connection

  • Restart the Apple TV

  • Update the Singa app to the latest version

No sound during playback

  • Check TV and Apple TV volume settings

  • Verify audio output settings on Apple TV

  • Restart the Singa app

Login issues

  • Make sure you use the correct username/email address
