Windows

Aegisub and Subtitle Edit are both free softwares to sync your karaoke text. However, the file format they provide requires a bit of manual editing to make it work in Singa.

AEGISUB

SUBTITLE EDIT

Once you've synced your song, export it out in the correct format.

Aegisub: use the .srt file format

Subtitle Edit: use the .txt file format

The result of both looks like this and both can be edited with a text editor:

1

00: 00: 12,750 -> 00: 00: 18,020

Here is the first line of the lyrics

2

00: 00: 18,220 -> 00: 00: 23,150

The song continues

3

00: 00: 23,250 -> 00: 00: 28,000

like this

4

00: 00: 28,400 -> 00: 00: 33,570

The first number shows

5

00: 00: 33,800 -> 00: 00: 36,880

the exact moment when this line begins

6

00: 00: 39,040 -> 00: 00: 42,280

and the latter number where it ends

This file needs to be modified for the format to be supported by Singa.

Regardless of the lines, the words will appear in the karaoke text on the same line until \n changes lines. You must add \n where you want to divide lines.

Note! Insert this line break directly after the text without spaces!

The end result should be a .txt or .srt file that looks like this:

1

00: 00: 12,750 -> 00: 00: 18,020

Here is the first line of the lyrics \n

2

00: 00: 18,220 -> 00: 00: 23,150

The song continues

3

00: 00: 23,250 -> 00: 00: 28,000

like this \n

4

00: 00: 28,400 -> 00: 00: 33,570

The first number shows \n

5

00: 00: 33,800 -> 00: 00: 36,880

the exact moment this line starts \n

6

00: 00: 39,040 -> 00: 00: 42,280

and the last number where it ends \n

As you can see in the example, we want The song continues like this to be on the same line.

Karaoke Builder Studio and Power Karaoke CD+G Creator are both softwares, which can sync and export a file that works in Singa without any manual work.
