What subscription types does Singa have, and how do payment periods work?

In this article, we go through Singa's subscription plans and how payment periods work.

Updated over a week ago

Singa Premium subscription options

Singa Premium is currently available with two different subscription types:

Recurring:

  • Monthly subscription

  • Annual subscription

One-time purchases:

  • 2-day (48-hour) pass

  • 1-month pass

  • 3-month pass

  • 6-month pass

  • 12-month pass

Pricing and regional differences

Subscription prices may vary depending on your country or region. For example:

  • Monthly subscription:

    • UK: £9.99

    • US: $9.99

  • Annual subscription:

    • UK: £89.99

    • US: $89.99

The exact price will always be shown in the app or store before you confirm your purchase.

Subscription renewal and billing

Monthly and annual subscriptions

Both monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the end of the current billing period.

  • The billing period starts on the day you activate the subscription

  • Monthly subscriptions renew for the next month

  • Annual subscriptions renew for the next year

  • To avoid being charged for the next period, you must cancel at least 24 hours before the current billing period ends

Example:

If you activate a monthly subscription on October 23rd, your billing period runs from October 23rd to November 23rd.

  • The subscription will automatically renew on November 23rd

  • To prevent renewal, you must cancel by November 22nd at the latest

The same logic applies to annual subscriptions, but on a yearly billing cycle instead of monthly. Please note! The app or Singa's subscription page may state that your subscription will end on a certain date. But if you have not canceled your subscription, this only refers to the duration of the current payment period. Your subscription will automatically renew for the next payment period after that date.

One-time purchase:

The passes are a one-time purchase and work differently from recurring subscriptions:

  • It is activated immediately upon purchase

  • It remains valid for the chosen period of time

  • It does not renew automatically

  • No cancellation is required. Access ends automatically when the chosen period of time expires

Card authorization

A card authorization means that the amount is reserved on your account, but not charged yet. The funds appear as reserved and cannot be used for other purchases, but they have not been transferred to Singa.

  • The authorization is temporary

  • It is released automatically if the payment is not completed

  • The release time depends on your bank and can take from a few days up to several days

Card authorizations are commonly used to ensure that there are sufficient funds available before the actual charge is made.
