Singa isn't working properly. What should I do?

If you are having issues with the app, for example unexpected crashes or the songs are not loading properly, try if these check-ups will solve the problem.

If Singa is crashing, freezing, not loading songs, or behaving unexpectedly, try the steps below. Most issues can be resolved in a few minutes.

Before you begin

First, check whether there's a known service disruption:

👉 Visit the Singa Status Page

If there are no ongoing issues, continue with the troubleshooting steps below.

Quick fixes (try these first)

1. Restart the Singa app

Completely close the app and open it again.

2. Sign out and sign back in

Logging out and back in refreshes your account session and can solve many playback and login issues.

3. Restart your device

A simple restart often fixes temporary software problems.

4. Check your internet connection

Singa requires a stable internet connection.

  • Test your connection speed at fast.com

  • We recommend at least 10 Mbps

  • Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data

If songs won't load or playback is slow

Update the app

Make sure you're using the latest version of Singa from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Update your device

Install the latest available operating system updates for your device.

Close other apps

Running many apps simultaneously can affect performance.

Disable VPN services

VPNs and proxy services can sometimes interfere with streaming and content availability.

Mobile devices (iPhone, iPad & Android)

Check app permissions

Singa requires microphone access for:

  • Singing view

  • Song scoring (Singa Plus)

You can review permissions in your device settings.

Check available storage

Low storage space may cause crashes, slow performance, or failed updates.

Android only: Clear app cache

Go to: Settings → Apps → Singa → Storage → Clear Cache

Reinstall the app

If problems continue, uninstall and reinstall Singa.

Audio or Bluetooth issues

If you're using Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or microphones:

  • Disconnect and reconnect the device

  • Turn Bluetooth off and back on

  • Test Singa without Bluetooth connected

Note: Bluetooth connections may introduce audio delay that can affect timing and scoring. Check also our audio issue help article here.

TV, AirPlay, and casting issues

If you're casting Singa to a TV:

  • Make sure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network

  • Restart your TV and casting device

  • Reconnect the casting session

  • Check for updates on your TV or streaming device

  • Restart your router if connection issues continue
